Mr Dexter

We've had a neighbor, Mr. Dexter who for years has been a wonderful friend and mentor.  His wife died many years ago and we have enjoyed his friendship and adopted him in to our family.  He is a retired plumber, so he has helped Doug with many plumbing projects.  We have called Mr. Dexter hundreds of times to come over and grab some of our left overs that we knew we probably would not eat.  It always gave him a reason to get out of the house.  He has had a huge impact on many lives, including thousands of Boy Scouts.  He only has a few months to live so today his son, Stanley had a birthday party for him a month early.  He cooked out and cooler yet, hired the Cow Town Cowboys to put on a show for him.  Ben and Sam came prepared with their ear protection.  Sam decided to watch from inside the house since he does not like loud noises.
