I've been going around the house this fall touching up some paint on the house.  Of course, Ben wants to help last night.  Ben really enjoys standing "safely" on the ladder and supervising me paint.  He points out areas that need to be painted.

Bought a new "Air Jams" guitar yesterday for Halloween since Sam wants to be a rock star again.  They sure are a lot of fun and dad enjoys jammin on it too.

Ben has been enjoying an old type writer that Kristin bought for $2.00 at our own garage sale.  Ben enjoys taking our daily devotional book for boys and typing out lessons.  They must be in Greek as it's difficult to read what he types.

Ben has been helping mom making snacks for BSF.  They make the snacks on Tuesday afternoon and the ladies enjoy the goodies on Wednesday morning.

This school year, we are making Thursday evenings "family" game night.  Here is Sam and Ben playing Mastermind.

After our fun trip to Lowe's we went to Sedgwick County Park and played at the park for a while.  It was a beautiful morning

Sam fell and got an ouchie

Sam's whole school had a fund raising event on Tuesday.  It was a fund raiser for PTA where the students ran for 25 minutes and got donations for his running.  Sam ran 12 laps.  He had to stop several times for water.  There were multiple injuries including Sam's scrape on his arm.  He had fun though.  Sam raised $50.00 and raised enough for a pencil, a little back pack and a change to win $10.00.  Sam trained for this event by walking on the treadmill and even doing some "Biggest Loser" exercises with mom.

Thanksgiving 2010

We spent Thanksgiving Day as usual up in Atchison, KS with Kristin's Uncle Hugh who lives at the Saint Benedictine Abbey. Kristin's brother, Kevin joined us from California. We are very glad he is here!

Ben's First Day of Preschool

Ben headed off to Asbury Preschool Tuesday. He looked so grown up with his new school clothes. In fine Keefer style, he refused to talk about what he did at school, only to say that he didn't have any jobs, and he had chocolate teddy grahams for snack. His teacher reported that he did well.
