The Big Day

Sam has been anxiously awaiting his birthday sleep over with his friends Rex and Conner.  All day on Friday, Ben and Sam were asking how much longer?  It's a busy weekend at the Shaffer household.  Happy birthday Sam who turns 9 on Monday!

Sam and Ben were trying to earn some extra money.  Sam just wanted to be done.  Ben definitely won the hard worker contest.  Regardless, they both did a great job.  Now, if they can just get rid of the hail dents.

Something To Do

Today was Kevin's last day in Wichita.  We had a lot of fun with him.  We swam a couple of times, ate some good meals together, and today, we went to Exploration Place for a while.  Don't Kevin, Sam and Ben make a good bar graph?

4th of July part 2

We went to Tanganyika last evening and fed the lorikeets.  The birds were extra hungry since they were open later.  We had a blast with these birds landing on us.

Sam worked really hard today making this addition to Jaba the Hut's palace.  If Sam wins, he will win $100 gift card.  Needless to say, I (Doug) could not construct anything this good.
